American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course
Spring 2023
Registration begins April 25th
The Morris School District Community School is offering Lifeguard Training at the Morristown High School pool.
This class includes instruction in Water Safety, CPR and First Aid!
To earn a Red Cross Lifeguard certificate, you must:
*be at least15 years of age
*pass the required written and water tests in Water Safety, CPR and First Aid
NOTE: For full certification to remain in place, you must renew every 2 years

Dates/Times: Tuesday-Friday, May 9, 10, 11 12 (2:30 - 7:00pm)
Saturday, May 13 (9:00am - 2:00pm)
*** This course will not interfere with Spring sports - accommodations will be made
YOU MUST ATTEND ALL CLASSES TO RECEIVE YOUR CERTIFICATE
Location: Morristown High School
Fee: $350.00 (Includes eBooks, pocket mask for CPR, Red Cross certificates
Registration:
All registration for Community School programs is completed online at our website –
www.msdcommunityschool.org. Hover over “Youth Programs” and then click on “Teen
Lifeguarding”. Click on the link to go directly to the Registration system. If your family has not
registered with the Community School in this system before, you will need to complete the Family
Information section first, and then register for the class. Please note that all
payments are with a credit card only, and the program must be paid in full at the time of
registration. As per Community School policy, cancellations are accepted in writing up to 72 hours
before the start of the first class, and NO refunds of any kind are offered once the classes have
begun.
Enrollment Deadline: May 3, 2023
Note: We must have a minimum of 6 students for the class to run. If the minimum is not met, you will be notified on May 4, 2023 and your fee will be refunded.
